Update: SB 2270 now SB 2331

The Joint Committee on Economic Development and Emerging Technologies reported out SB 2270, An Act to Promote Economic Development Throughout the Commonwealth, favorably on Tuesday, March 16.  It has been redrafted to include some of the feedback given since the bill’s initial release and given a new number: SB 2331.

Senator Spilka will offer remarks on the importance of science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) education in MetroWest and statewide at an event being held by Foundation for MetroWest, the Rennie Center for Education Research & Policy, and the Massachusetts Life Sciences Center, at the Franklin W. Olin College of Engineering in Needham on Thursday, March 11.

MWDN: Bill would create MetroWest tourism bureau
