Legislature to Hold Merrimack Valley Oversight Hearings

“The legislature will be holding joint oversight hearings on the Merrimack Valley failures and pipeline safety. These hearings will be led by Senator Michael J. Barrett (D-Lexington) and Representative Thomas Golden (D-Lowell), the co-chairs of the Joint Committee on Telecommunications, Utilities and Energy. These hearings will take place after the November 19th deadline for restoration of heat and hot water to residents, so as to not distract from the work required to complete that restoration. Details regarding these hearings will be provided soon.”
