Senate President Spilka Applauds the Recommendations of the Commission to Combat Antisemitism
On December 17, 2026, Senate President Karen Spilka gathered statewide leaders in the Senate Reading Room to stand together to commend the Special Commission on Combating Antisemitism and its work to address antisemitic incidents and strengthen protections against discrimination and harassment.
The Commission put forward a multi-pronged approach to combating antisemitism, including strengthening education and awareness, highlighting best practices for responding to antisemitic incidents, fostering allyship across religious communities, and enhancing safety for Jewish institutions and places of worship.
