Ashland Fire Department Receives Federal Grant to Hire New Firefighters

The Ashland Fire Department was one of 14 fire departments in Massachusetts awarded funding from FEMA's Staffing for Adequate & Fire Emergency Response (SAFER) program. The department will receive $731,527 to hire four new firefighters.

"As an Ashland resident, I am thrilled that our fire department will be receiving these critical funds to ensure they will be able to hire and train more firefighters.
